Bacardi y su impreso en el Metro de hoy en el Reino Unido ha generado bastante controversia en los medios sociales locales. Algunos lo encuentran ofensivo y hasta cierto punto racista. Historicamente Francia e Inglaterra han tenido diferecias politicas resultando en numerosas batallas. El anuncio de Bacardi hace alusion a esto y ha generado viralidad entre usuarios en Twitter.
